Networking - The best benefit any Chamber can offer its members is the opportunity to network with each other, and relevant guests. The Mineral County Chamber will facilitate networking through Chamber meetings, seminars, and social events, such as mixers. We will provide forums with elected officials, state officials, and business leaders from other areas.
Quarterly Chamber After Hours – The Chamber will facilitate After Hours Mixers sponsored by Members, to provide a comfortable setting for Members to get to know each other and chat. There could be wine and cheese, cocktails, light music, etc. Sign up to hold an After Hours in your location to spotlight your business.
Annual Events - Examples of events include a Spring Golf Tournament, a Summer Feast or Bar-B-Que, and an end of year Business Awards Banquet. These are great ways to enjoy time with your fellow members, your family, and meet new friends.
Website Presence – The Chamber will promote our Members and sell discounted advertising space to them. We will exclusively promote Members of the Chamber.
Membership Directory- We will compile a Membership Directory annually which will be available free of charge to the public. Members will be listed for free, with the opportunity to purchase ads to reach new clients.
Relocation Packages – The Chamber will put together packets for people and businesses moving into the area which tell them where to go and who to see to get established. Things such as DMV location, personal property tax setup, insurance, utilities, etc. Members may place discounted ads aimed at benefitting new residents. Free of charge to new residents.
Free Printed Distribution- We will be a repository for rack cards, brochures, and business cards free of charge for all Members.
Mailing Lists - We can provide mailing lists pre-formatted for labels of all Members for a $50.00 charge.
Membership Decal - We will provide a Member - Chamber of Commerce decal to all Members for their storefronts or windows.
One Voice - We will stand for our Members whenever the opportunity presents itself, to be advocates for our businesses and our community, whether it be with elected officials, community organizations and leaders, or the media.
Monthly Newsletter- We will produce a monthly newsletter to publish dates of meetings and events, promote Member businesses, and update Members on projects, legislation, etc.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies - We will provide ribbon cutting ceremonies for grand openings and contact the media for coverage.
Focus Groups - We will maintain focus groups consisting of a mix of Board members and Members in the following areas: Membership Services, Educational Programs, Corporate and Governmental Relations, and Initiatives and Events. These groups will meet monthly, and report back to the Board with progress.
Group Insurance Rates for Small Businesses – By joining the Chamber of Commerce, your small business can obtain health insurance plans for your employees at far better rates than available on your own.Check with the Chamber Office for details and to apply.
