Getting To Work
Every year, one of the best opportunities to meet with Cabinet Secretaries and Department Heads, comes on Mineral County Day. We had two major priorities this year - the North / South Highway, and a new traffic light for the senior center at Stony Run Road. In addition, we had numerous other projects to discuss with the following Departments:

-
Department of Arts, Culture, and History
-
Department of Health and Human Resources
-
Department of Agriculture
-
Department of Tourism
-
Department of Transportation
-
Department of Commerce

The meetings we had were very productive and helpful. We first thanked those responsible for the following:
-
Road improvements throughout Mineral County
-
Continued support of BUMFS
-
Tourism support opportunities
-
Ongoing grants for Ashby's Fort Museum and new opportunities for historical museums
-
Multiple grant opportunities for amphitheater project at Larenim
